Jamie Hewlett's tattoos « Result #13 on Oct 17, 2009, 9:51am »
I was watching the Oxfam video about Jamie's trip to Bangladesh and noticed that he has a few fairly prominent tattoos. I guess I only see photos of him in long sleeves. Does anyone know what the tattoos are or have decent photos. I am always fascinated to see what designers and artist decide to commit to ink.
PS. I was ready to buy one of Jamie's prints, when i found out they only send the prints to UK addresses. Sad

Oh, i forgot, if you want to watch the series on the net, just go on Youtube and type the following words to watch the full episode, that is splited in 11 parts.(There is just these episode to watch via streaming on the whole net too...)
Re: Get the Freebies ? « Result #39 on Apr 3, 2009, 3:57am »
Unfortunately, he says that the magazine "The Face" had lost the original artwork, and so he had lost his own drawings, and he do not want to reprint the original series, which is a fu@#ing shame... (see more: http://gorillaz-unofficial.com/Jamie08/jamie.html ) But i can give you the direction to the unique episode found on the whole net(There´s just two sites with this episode, so updload soon before it disappears) i guess this is the first episode of the series.
And, of course, if you liked the cartoon, you probably liked the TV pilot on BBC three, and as i´m seeding the two last torrents on the whole net containing the video, i think it would be fair to share with you, since you won´t be able to read the whole original story(oh, Burk is not a Gorilla, but a guy stuck in a costume that went crazy).

it's probably old news to you all. but Noodle is not dead. it was a set up so Murdoc could do away with Jimmy. according to ROTO, the band members, at the moment are off to do their own thing. Noodle, as Muds says is off on a small respite to gather her thoughts and rest up. blah, blah, blah. it's all in the book and i'm sure you've all read it.
i am getting the distinct impression, this place is dead, or perhaps in the last remaining death spasms, choke, gurgle, splutter. oh well, least i can say i've been, i've posted and now i am gone.
caoi
noodle isnt dead she parachuted off the island while it was crashing down
I have The Hick limited edition print (and profesionally framed in black with red bounding which incidently looks great!). Number 672/750.

Demon Days is the one album that grabbed my attention to Gorillaz. Damon could not have made a better album after Gorillaz first album and I'm sure phase 3 will blow us all out of the water!! The magic of Demon Days has me under it's spell, for I can listen to this music over and over again and never get tired of it.

Jamie is the most amazing, brilliant and talented artist of our time. I love his cool way of throwing little subliminal hand jesters in some of the pictures that he takes with other people and his down to earth mannerism. He and Damon are the two most incredibly handsome and sexy men on the planet and I would very much love to meet them one day

i don't know what I am replying to, but I have two songs that I know Jamie and Damon would be amuzed by, one is sucking grandpas thingy, and the other is ugly boring people. I lost track of you guys after Westbourne Grove, but if you have a moment check out the crimpelines on ilike and you will find the songs there. I am so pleased for both of you. In my mind I see a very warped cartoon, all the best love Lou

I have 2 Limited Edition Jamie Hewlett Silkscreen prints for sale.
As a guide I have tentatively priced the images which come complete with frame, these prices may be negotiable and will depend on the interest generated. If you are a Jamie Hewlett fan, act fast it's not often prints like these are available on the open market, (just check out ebay, you won't find anything like this up there)

I used his cartoons, twisted them up a bit, to make party fliers. That was in 1989, when I thought he was probably an ex-biker, Californian toon artist who would never know - I realise I was wrong, it was wrong, but thanks Jamie. Wish I could have seen Monkey.

Signed or Unsigned? « Result #91 on Dec 3, 2007, 2:08am »
Looking to buy one of the windows for my boyfriend for Xmas. Limited student budget (sob). Is it better to get a small signed one or a big unsigned one?! Or come to that two small unsigned ones?! Argh! My primary goal is to buy something he likes, not an investment, but then if he ever wanted to get rid of it...
Cheers! xxx
